Come and meet others, share your stories if you want, have some lunch and then…. you can hit the rides!

Hi from the Cleft NZ Governance Team.

We’re really excited to be running the very first Cleft NZ young people’s event at Rainbows End.  All young people who attend will have the opportunity to meet and talk with each other & Cleft NZ about the things that are important to them. The morning will be facilitated by David Garb and your are welcome to come and meet David along with Susan, Barbara, Elspeth, John & Ian from Cleft NZ at the start of our day together. We hope this will be the start of providing lots more opportunities for your child to get together with other young people, participate, have fun & make things happen.

We will finish at 1pm. If you want to meet your child and join them in the park, please let us know numbers.  If we get over 15 extras we can organise a discount.  Cleft NZ will pay for your child, but other visitors will need to pay their own entry fee.

After 1pm, the children can choose their own activities.  Rainbows End is big, you will need to find a meeting place and time.  Cleft NZ will be there, but the children will all scatter.  You can choose to be with them from this time.

We’ve never done this before, so we are a bit nervous and excited all at the same time.  We think that’s ok, because once David has introduced as all, we are just there to have fun.
