IEP Seminar in Central Auckland
Posted on September 5th, 2007Parent to Parent are holding another IEP Seminar on Thursday 13th September 2007. 7-9.30pm at CCS, 14 Erson Ave, Royal Oak.
If your child has any special education needs requiring additional resources, then this seminar is for you. It will give you background knowledge on how the Education system caters for special needs and how to access this successfully for your child.

A partnership between you, the school and specialists will enable your child to progress at their own pace towards agreed goals, and respond to challenges that will help them develop their potential in all areas of learning”. Parent to Parent Organisation in association with Vision Impaired NZ are putting on seminars over the next 2 months. (times & location to follow) They will cover:
- An overview of SE2000 (Special Education)
- The IEP (Individual Education Plan) process
- The IEP meeting and document
- The Parents’ role
